Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in defensive driving to ensure the safety of cargo, fellow drivers, and pedestrians at all times.
• Experience with GPS navigation systems to efficiently plan routes and accurately estimate arrival times for deliveries.
• Knowledge of electronic logging devices for keeping accurate records of driving hours and ensuring compliance with road safety regulations.
• Understanding of hazardous material handling to safely transport various types of freight under legal guidelines.
• Skills in load securement to maintain cargo stability and prevent damage during transit.
• Competence in route planning to manage time effectively and explore the best paths for delivery.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations compliance to ensure adherence to all transportation laws and organizational policies.
• Possession of a valid heavy vehicle license for operating trucks on highways and other major roadways.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Transporting goods safely and efficiently to designated locations in compliance with road and traffic regulations.

• Reporting any delays, accidents, or safety hazards promptly to ensure quick resolution while on the road.
• Maintaining a clean and safe driving environment within the vehicle as per company and industry standards.
