POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Compton College District Police Department has an active police cadet program that is vital in providing quality, non* hazardous police services to our campus community. The police cadets are Compton College District students who work part-time for the Police Department while attending Compton College. The program allows students to gain valuable experience working in a law enforcement setting while pursuing their educational goals. Police cadets can work up to 25 hours per week and perform a variety of assignments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS

Providing directional assistance to staff, students, our campus community, the public, and visitors to the college campus.

Providing escort services to staff, students, and visitors on campus. Parking enforcement

Making emergency notifications
