Position Summary


Under the direction of the Director of Education of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, the Policy Analyst is responsible for assisting with conceptualizing, researching, policy issues, analysis, strategic policy development, drafting policy options and recommendations for an effective First Nations making process as it relates to First Nations education.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop consultative networks with First Nation organizations, non-government, and government departments to access information on a broad range of complex issues, which will impact on policy formulation, and integration.

  • Analysis of legal, historical, constitutional, legislative, jurisdictional, and other related subject areas to support the advancement of the First Nation agenda.
