Pollution Control Officer

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or any related field.

Must be a DOLE-accredited Safety Officer (SO2 or SO3 level preferred).

Completed Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) or Construction Safety and Health (COSH) Training.

Knowledge of DOLE, DENR, and BFP safety standards and regulations.

Preferably with First Aid and Fire Safety Training certification.

With Pollution Control Training.



Experience:

At least 2 to 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in a construction, shipyard, or industrial setting.

Proven experience in conducting safety inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments.

Experience in implementing safety programs, toolbox meetings, and emergency preparedness drills.

Familiar with PPE compliance, permits to work, and hazard identification control.
