The Polymeric and Composites Processes Unit at Eurecat strives to improve compounding technologies and plastic processing carryingout research in plastics, composites, characterization, and analysis to enhance the design and get functional improvement.

Our PCP unit open different positions for Materials, Mechanical or Mechatronics students who are interested in developing their bachelor/master thesis in the polymeric and composites processes domain.

1. Environmental Impact: the main goal will be to understand the essential environmental factors in the plastic transformation industry preparing a simplified methodology with rough tabulated values to have an initial comparative evaluation.
2. Post Industrial Recycled Polymers: the main goal will be to determine the re processability grade of polymers keeping main properties that guarantee their functionality trying to set a correlation between polymer properties and its re-processability.
