Duties


  • Conduct sleep studies and assist with the backlog of over 300 patients needing evaluations.

  • Score and result approximately 100 sleep studies.

  • Provide education on scoring techniques while completing sleep studies.



Skills


  • Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic.

  • Proficient in using equipment such as Respironics and Alice Study Types.

  • Conduct various sleep studies including Adult Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT) and Adult Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT).

  • Ability to perform seizure study mask fitting with full face, nasal mask, and nasal pillow.

  • Monitor cardiac abnormalities, ECG, EEG, End-Tidal CO2, O2 Saturation, and Periodic Limb Movement (PLM).

  • Competent in PSG, Respiratory Inductance Plethysmography (RIP), and staging and scoring of sleep-related events.
