THE JOB:

The POS Administrator has overall responsibility for maintaining the POS Retail environment. Monitor data flow from Server to POS and vice versa. Troubleshoot day to day issues faces by POS users at store.

Job Description:

  • Managing the POS configuration items: menus, screens, periodic pricing, etc.
  • Creating POS system, being compliant with hardware and software
  • Providing first level support to store staff for days-to-day activities
  • Monitoring Scheduler Jobs and troubleshooting for any error
  • Creating database for new shop opening and recovery of crashed database
  • Maintaining User ID’s for store staff
  • Providing remote support and troubleshooting
  • Executing and coordinating any new implementations of software releases, new functionality or system patches
  • Facilitating POS system testing plans
