Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

Reporting to Professor Xianping Dong, the successful candidate will work on two projects focused on investigating the interactions between phosphoinositide lipids and lysosomal ion channels and transporters. Understanding these interactions will advance our knowledge of the regulation of lysosomal ion channels and transporters, and how they contribute to endolysosomal physiology, Ca²⁺ signaling, autophagy, and related human diseases.
In this role the PDF will:


  • Conduct independent and collaborative research

  • Data analysis, interpretation, and dissemination

  • Manuscript and grant preparation

  • Laboratory management and technical support

  • Mentorship and training of junior researchers

  • Professional development and contribution to the research community
