A postdoctoral position trained in epidemiological methodology is available for a project exploring associations between pancreatic cancer risk factors, primarily metabolic syndrome, and a composite liquid biopsy biomarker panel. This panel will integrate multimodal features into an AI-assisted computational analysis applied to large cohorts of patients with pancreatic cancer and its precursor lesions, individuals at risk of developing PDAC, and age-matched control groups, within a European-funded project. The Group is seeking a recent and motivated Ph.D. with relevant publications and experience in molecular/omics epidemiology.
The position involves conducting studies for a European-funded project, including biomarkers in liquid biopsies.
