Job Description
Princeton University's Program on Science and Global Security (SGS), based in the School of Public and International Affairs, is seeking a postdoctoral research associate to advance our work on nuclear arms control, disarmament, nonproliferation, verification, and on the global security challenges associated with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, and space-based systems, including large satellite constellations. A recent PhD in physics, engineering, computer science, or other relevant fields and strong interest in technical and policy research to advance national and international policies for a safer and more peaceful world are required. The benefits-eligible postdoctoral appointment is for a twelve-month term, starting around September 5 or an agreed date later in 5 or early 6, with the possibility of renewal for another months, contingent on satisfactory performance and funding.
