Postdoctoral research position in mathematical statistics

Within the framework of research projects on Statistical Inference for Contemporary data structures (including directional data), we have a vacancy for a one-year postdoctoral position in Statistics.
The postdoctoral researcher will be part of a very active research group in mathematical statistics, consisting of members of the research group ORSTAT at the Faculty of Economics and Business, and members of the section Statistics and Risk, Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science.

Responsibilities

The candidate will take part in a research project contributing in developing new statistical methodologies for contemporary data structures to tackle challenging research questions. The considered data structures include in particular data belonging to non-Euclidean spaces (data on a simplex, data on a circle, a hypersphere, a torus, ...).
