Postdoctoral Researcher: Storr Liver Centre

The Postdoctoral researcher reports to the Group Research Leader for Hepatitis B Research and sits within the Storr Liver Research Centre. The Postdoctoral researcher is responsible for carrying out molecular research into understanding hepatitis B pathogenesis and persistence.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Operations

Directly carrying out molecular research in hepatitis B cure and carcinogenesis.

Liaising with clinical staff and patients to enable sample collection and processing (e.g., schedule appointments, clinical data entry, and manage follow‑up communication).

Designing experiments, including Safe Operating Procedures to support protocol.

Undertaking administrative functions of the lab.

Data and Research Results

Leading the collection, analysis, and interpretation of research data.
