JOB DESCRIPTION:

• DBA Experience in PostgreSQL database on either On-Prem or on any Cloud
• Total IT experience range - 6 to 10 years

Must have skills:

• Installation and configuration Azure flexible server and single server
• Upgradation and patching azure PostgreSQL flexible server and on-prem PostgreSQL server
• Backup Exp for azure cloud and pg_dump and pg_base backup
• Azure PostgreSQL flexible server
• CI/CD pipeline for PostgreSQL on Azure
• User and role management for PostgreSQL
• High availability, scalability and data redundancy for azure PostgreSQL flexible server and single server
• Replication exp on azure and on-prem environment
• Exp on PostgreSQL tablespace and pg_catalog
• DMS service exp for azure cloud
• PostgreSQL performance tunning,
• Backup and restore exp with point in time recovery
• PostgreSQL table Intex and partitioning

Good to have:

• Public cloud networking skills, are considered a plus
• Terraform--Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• GitHub
• Migration from on-prem to Azure PostgreSQL flexible server
• AWS RDS Aurora,Linux shell scripting
