Power BI Developer «Advisor»
Hybrid-CDMX
Experience Required in:
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models to support business needs.
* Establish and manage connectivity to multiple data sources, including SAP and other enterprise systems.
* Implement robust data modeling practices to ensure scalability and performance.
* Utilize Power Query, M scripting, and DAX to transform and analyze data effectively.
* Design intuitive and visually appealing layouts aligned with business requirements and UX best practices.
* Configure and manage security roles and row-level security within Power BI.
* Deploy and manage solutions on PowerBI.com, including workspaces, apps, and sharing protocols.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
* Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in Power BI development and administration.
* Proven experience integrating Power BI with SAP and other enterprise systems.
* Strong proficiency in:
oData Modeling
oPower Query
oM scripting
oDAX
oLayout and Design principles
oSecurity configuration
oPowerBI.com administration
* Solid understanding of relational databases, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
* Experience with Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.).
* Familiarity with other BI tools and data visualization platforms.
* Knowledge of SAP BW or SAP HANA CDS Views integration with Power BI.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
