Power BI developer (Birmingham)

Overview

I'm currently working with a client looking for a Power BI Developer to join on a 6‑month fixed term full time employment contract, with the potential to become permanent.

Required Skillset

• 4+ years’ hands‑on experience with Power BI (datasets, modelling, end‑to‑end reporting)
• Strong experience with Azure (pipelines, data warehousing, Synapse)
• Good understanding of dimensional modelling and data warehousing principles, ideally Kimball
• Strong stakeholder engagement and requirements‑gathering skills
• Comfortable working independently within a developing BI function

Location and Term

• Location: Birmingham (2 days per week onsite requirement)
• Contract Type: 6 months fixed term full time employment contract (high possibility to be made permanent)
• Start Date: ASAP

Compensation

• Salary - £50000 pa
