RPS is seeking a  Power BI Developer  to join a growing and vibrant team in  Brisbane  to assist with ICT projects for Government and Corporate clients. We require someone for an immediate start on a project and are happy to consider either a contract or permanent role as desired by the suitable candidate.Reporting to the Development Lead – Capability Systems, the Power BI Developer is responsible for enabling the business to maximize the value of their data assets by designing and building advanced analytic capabilities. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of corporate applications and systems through the development of new and existing applications. About you

Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.

Proficient with inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and analysing raw data to discover useful information, inform conclusions, and support effective decision-making.

Responsible for designing and building scalable data models and enabling advanced analytic capabilities that provide meaningful business value through easy-to-comprehend data visualizations.

Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver relevant insights based on identified business requirements.

Ability to work independently through unstructured tasks.

Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.

Experience/Qualifications Mandatory:

Knowledge in Microsoft BI Stack - Excel, PowerBI Desktop and Online Service DAX Power M Query.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in data-specific roles or similar stream.

Relevant tertiary or industry recognised qualification.

Highly Desirable:

Familiarity with secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure Cloud, SQL data warehouse, DevOps etc.

NV1 Security Clearance.
