Job Role: -Power BI Developer

Job Location: Remote (India)

Experience: - 6-7 Years

Job Roles & Responsibilities: -

• Develop & Design Dashboards: Build Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that align with business needs.
• Gather & Translate Requirements: Collect user needs and convert them into BI solutions.
• Data Integration: Connect Power BI to sources like SAP BW/HANA, Oracle, Hyperion, spreadsheets, Snowflake, and Redshift.
• Modeling & Transformation: Design semantic data models and perform efficient data transformations via Power Query.
• Optimize Performance: Ensure dashboards are fast, scalable, and user-friendly.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business teams, analysts, and IT to ensure accurate and clear reporting.
• Data Troubleshooting & Governance: Resolve data quality issues and uphold reporting integrity.
• Maintenance & Enhancement: Update and improve existing dashboards to accommodate evolving requirements.
• Documentation & Training: Provide manuals and train end-users, fostering BI self-service.
• Compliance & Security: Adhere to data governance and security protocols.

Job Skills & Requirements: -

• Data Visualization & UX/UI: Deep understanding of visualization principles and user-centric design.
• Power BI Expertise: Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling best practices.
• Enterprise System Integration: Experience integrating with SAP BW/HANA, Oracle, Hyperion.
• Cloud & Spreadsheet Data Handling: Skilled in data access/transformation from Excel, Snowflake, Redshift, and other cloud platforms.
• SQL Proficiency: Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational and columnar databases.
• Hierarchical & Financial Modeling: Ability to work with structured planning data (e.g., financial hierarchies).
• Complex Dataset Handling: Capable of managing large data volumes and delivering intuitive dashboards.
• Communication Skills: Excellent at explaining BI insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualification: -

• Microsoft Power BI Certification (PL 300 or DA 100)
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or equivalent cloud data platforms
• Experience in Agile/Scrum project delivery
• Familiarity with other BI suites like Tableau, Qlik, or SAP BO
