THE ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated Power BI Engineer to join our client's team in their new Denver office. In this role, you will join a passionate team that is driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and visualize legal data, making a difference for legal professionals everywhere.
This role is hybrid to the Denver, CO area.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Design, develop, and maintain BI reporting solutions using Power BI.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate technical specs.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Develop and execute database queries and perform analyses.
Create visualizations and reports for specified projects.
Evaluate, improve, and optimize current reporting.
Maintain data connectivity and refresh schedules for all Power BI reports.
Assist with troubleshooting system and data issues.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Certification in Power BI.
Proven experience as a Power BI Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Power Automate.
Experience with advanced data visualization techniques.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data.
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
Experience with SQL.
Experience with Snowflake, Rivery, dbt, or Azure Data Factory is a plus.
Experience with Power BI Copilot or other AI assisted reporting tools is a plus.
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
