Due to an expansion of the Foothills Medical Center power plant, the FMC plant operations department is seeking an experienced 3rd class power engineer to join their team. Under direction of the plant manager and under the general supervision of a 2nd class power engineer, this position monitors, controls and assists in the regulation of a first-class power plant and related systems utilizing initiative and judgment in accordance with regulatory bodies (ABSA) and legislative requirements and limitations, policies and procedures.Representative duties include monitoring, adjusting and regulating high pressure power boilers and allied systems related to the production and distribution of power, water, air and heat; checking, servicing and performing repairs on plant equipment; maintaining operational logs, recording readings.
