SUMMARY: This is the entry level training position for the power engineering technologist design function off premise classifications. The purpose of this position is to develop an inexperienced candidate to accurately evaluate options and design safe, cost effective, and reliable distribution facilities for residential, area lighting, basic facilities and/or simple maintenance projects. Incumbents are expected to be able to be trained to develop basic skills and expertise in power distribution design and technical tasks.
