Power Platform Architect & Senior Developer – Automation & AI
Summary of Role
We are seeking a Power Platform Architect & Senior Developer who can design and implement enterprise-grade solutions while being hands-on in development. This hybrid role involves architecting scalable solutions, integrating APIs, and building Power Platform applications to automate business processes using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services, and AI-driven capabilities. The ideal candidate will lead solution design and deliver high-quality implementations.
The Role
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture
Analyze existing business processes and applications to identify automation opportunities. Define architecture for Power Platform solutions integrated with Azure services and external APIs. Establish best practices for scalability, security, and governance. Hands-on Development
Build and customize Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate flows (Cloud & Desktop) and configure Dataverse. Develop custom connectors for API consumption and orchestrate workflows using Logic Apps and Azure Functions. Implement AI Builder, RPA, and agentic automation for intelligent solutions. Integration & Connectivity
Integrate Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and third-party systems. Consume APIs securely using OAuth 2.0, Azure AD, and manage connections via APIM. Handle API throttling, retries, pagination, and error management. Governance & Security
Apply Power Platform governance, DLP policies, and role-based access control. Ensure compliance with organizational and Microsoft guidelines. DevOps & ALM
Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps/GitHub for Power Platform solutions. Manage environments, solution packaging, and deployment strategies. Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with business and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Provide guidance on automation strategy, AI adoption, and integration best practices. Mentor junior developers and promote reusable components. Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field. Experience:10+ years in enterprise solution architecture and development.Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.Proven ability to integrate APIs and orchestrate workflows using Azure services. Skills:Advanced Power Platform development and architecture.Expertise in Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, APIM, Service Bus, and Key Vault.Strong knowledge of API consumption (REST, Graph, webhooks) and secure authentication (OAuth, Azure AD).Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and ALM strategies. Certifications: PL-600 preferred; PL-400, PL-200, PL-100 are a plus; AZ-204 or AZ-305 desirable.
