Job Title: Power Systems Modeling Design Engineer
Location: Everett, WA
Job Responsibilities:Collaborate with our client's Electrical Power Systems team to support program and system needs in Aircraft Power System Modeling and Simulation. Assist in modeling and simulating aircraft power systems, including power conversion equipment, motor controllers, and power distribution. Conduct simulations to evaluate system power quality, identify equipment failure modes, and design system protections. Support the development of technical requirements and document complex electric power system specifications. Validate system requirements through simulation and testing.
Skills Required:Expertise in power systems, power electronics, or automatic controls. Proficient in modeling and simulation tools. Experience in model-based design and system engineering techniques. Strong background in electrical equipment systems design. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of engineering experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years, or a PhD in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.
