Overview

Kimley-Horn's Orlando, FL office is seeking a Power Systems Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Power Delivery team. With a focus on serving clients within the power delivery and energy sectors, the Power Systems Engineer will act as a technical expert in the analysis of power systems transient and steady state. This is an in-office position. 

Responsibilities

  • Support the power electrical team to analyze systems, create software models, and write reports for various projects . commercial, industrial and generation projects
  • Studies performed may include (per candidate experience): 
    Load Flow / Reactive Power Analysis Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination studies using ETAP or any steady state power system toolTransient studies using PSS/E and PSCAD Harmonic studies using ETAP, PSCAD or transient software Partner with the electrical team to create calculations and drawings for various projec...
