Powertrain Test Engineer

We are looking for a Powertrain Test Engineer to work in Ann Arbor. This is a contract role with LER Techforce that is initially for months but has a probability to go long term. The Powertrain Test Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the development, validation, and optimization of advanced propulsion systems, powertrain components, and vehicle-level technologies. This position combines strong engineering fundamentals with hands-on testing expertise to ensure high‐quality, reliable test results that drive technical decision‐making across customer programs.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and document test activities for engine, vehicle, and electrified propulsion systems.

Develop and validate test procedures, instrumentation setups, and test sequences to ensure repeatability and accuracy.
