Job Description
10 Month position
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Demonstrate leadership, organization and communication skills, problem-solving and critical thinking, experience with computer programs
+ Provide classroom/lab and clinical instruction, as well as evaluation of students per curriculum outline and objectives, reviewing coursework and care plans; remedial instruction as needed
+ Other responsibilities may be assigned
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Current NYS Licensed Registered Nurse, Bachelor's degree in Nursing plus 3-5 years’ work experience as an RN
+ Must hold or be able to meet Adult Education Certification
+ Prior teaching experience preferred but not required
Civil Service Title: Practical Nurse Program Instructor
