Practice Director - Simplify Insights

About the Role:

We are looking for a transformational leader to drive our Simplify Insights service offering, revolutionizing business intelligence through AI-powered analytics and extreme self-service capabilities. This role demands a technical visionary who can modernize traditional BI landscapes while building next-generation conversational AI and autonomous analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Lead Simplify Insights service offering, enabling extreme self-service analytics with Natural Language processing
• Drive the vision and roadmap for AugmentInsights.ai platform development
• Transform traditional BI implementations into AI-powered, conversational analytics experiences
• Enable every persona to consume insights without friction through innovative AI solutions

Technical Innovation:

• Architect and build conversational AI interfaces for business intelligence platforms
• Modernize existing BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) with AI/Gen AI capabilities
• Develop autonomous analytics solutions that proactively surface insights
• Implement Natural Language to SQL/Query generation for self-service analytics
• Build intelligent data storytelling and automated insight generation capabilities

Platform Modernization:

• Lead transformation of traditional BI landscapes to AI-first analytics platforms
• Integrate LLMs and Gen AI into existing visualization and reporting tools
• Develop semantic layers and knowledge graphs for enhanced AI understanding
• Implement automated data preparation and feature engineering pipelines
• Build real-time analytics with predictive and prescriptive capabilities

Solution Delivery:

• Design and deliver end-to-end AI-powered analytics solutions for enterprise clients
• Create industry-specific analytics accelerators and templates
• Implement automated dashboard generation and dynamic visualization
• Build anomaly detection and intelligent alerting systems
• Develop self-learning analytics systems that improve over time

Required Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• Deep expertise in BI/Analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik, MicroStrategy)
• Extensive experience with SQL, data modeling, and data warehousing
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with Gen AI/LLMs for analytics use cases
• Experience with Natural Language Processing and understanding
• Proficiency in building conversational AI interfaces and chatbots

Analytics & AI Experience:

• 10+ years in BI/Analytics solution development and deployment
• 5+ years modernizing BI tools with AI/ML capabilities
• Experience with semantic search and knowledge graphs
• Proven track record of building self-service analytics platforms
• Experience with real-time streaming analytics and complex event processing
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling

Data Platform Knowledge:

• Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
• Understanding of data mesh and data fabric architectures
• Knowledge of DataOps and analytics engineering practices
• Experience with data quality and master data management
• Familiarity with data governance and compliance requirements

Leadership Skills:

• Proven experience leading analytics and data science teams (15+ members)
• Track record of digital transformation initiatives in analytics
• Excellent stakeholder management and consulting skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, and proposal development

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
• Certifications in major BI platforms and cloud technologies
• Experience with AutoML and automated insights platforms
• Knowledge of industry-specific analytics requirements (Finance, Retail, Healthcare)
• Published work or speaking experience in AI-powered analytics
• Experience with embedded analytics and white-label solutions
