Practice Head - Computer Vision

Practice Head - Computer Vision will spearhead the development and deployment of advanced computer vision solutions to enhance Adani AI Labs’ digital transformation initiatives. This role is pivotal in leveraging image processing and generative AI technologies to drive innovation, optimize operations, and contribute to the success of flagship projects The position aligns with Adani AI Labs’ mission to create a unified digital ecosystem, delivering world-class user experiences and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Heads the design, development, and deployment of computer vision models and algorithms tailored to Adani AI Labs’ strategic initiatives.
• Develop and optimize image processing pipelines to enhance the quality and efficiency of visual data analysis.
• Integrate generative AI techniques to create innovative solutions for digital platform enhancements and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business challenges using computer vision technologies.
• Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in computer vision and AI to ensure the adoption of cutting-edge methodologies.
• Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Work closely with the Head of Data Science to align computer vision projects with the broader goals of Adani AI Labs.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of deployed computer vision solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for models, algorithms, and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate third-party solutions and tools as needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in developing and deploying computer vision solutions, with 10 -15 years in data science roles.
• Expertise in image processing, generative AI, and related technologies.
• Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing complex projects.

Educational Background

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Specialization in computer vision or machine learning is highly preferred.

Years & Type of Experience

• 10-15 years of experience in data science, with a focus on computer vision and image processing.
• Hands-on experience in deploying AI solutions in large-scale digital transformation projects.

Domain Expertise

• Deep understanding of computer vision techniques, including object detection, image segmentation, and generative models.
• Familiarity with digital platform integration and user experience optimization.
• Experience in applying AI to enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.

Digital & Operational Tools

• Proficiency in computer vision libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for AI model deployment.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques for presenting insights.

• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of data scientists and engineers.
