Overview


We are seeking a highly technical and customer-facing Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant-Enterprise Mobility to serve as the subject matter expert for Android mobile devices within our enterprise sales cycle. This role is essential for converting complex B2B opportunities by deeply understanding a client's existing IT infrastructure, addressing their technical objections, and showcasing the security, AI, and management advantages of the Android-on-Pixel platform.

The ideal candidate blends deep technical fluency in mobile OS and security with exceptional presentation and consultative selling skills.


Key Responsibilities

Technical Consultation & Discovery

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for the sales team and prospective B2B enterprise clients (direct and through System Integrators).
  • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with customer IT, Security, and Engineering teams to fully understand their current mobile device management (MDM) framework, security policies, and digital transformation goals.
  • Analyze existing mobility infrastructure (e.g., identity management, zero-trust architecture, application compatibility) to map technical requirements to the Android solutions.


Solution Design & Presentation

  • Design and articulate tailored, end-to-end mobility solutions leveraging Android Enterprise, and Android AI/ML capabilities on-device.
  • Develop and deliver compelling, highly customized technical presentations and product demonstrations (Proof of Concepts - PoCs) that clearly demonstrate a return on investment (ROI) and quantifiable business value.
  • Deeply address client concerns related to OS security, device lifecycle management, data privacy, compliance, and integration with existing enterprise systems.


Collaboration & Reporting

  • Collaborate actively with the Business Development team to refine the solution pitch, ensuring a unified and technically sound value proposition for Android as an enterprise solution.
  • Work closely with System Integrator (SI) partners to co-develop technical solutions, support their sales motions, and ensure technical readiness for complex deployments.
  • Maintain rigorous records and data of all pre-sales activities, technical engagement outcomes, and proof-of-concept progress, providing clear visibility for internal stakeholders.
  • Provide market feedback to the Product and Engineering teams to influence the future roadmap of Pixel and Android features relevant to enterprise customers.


Qualifications and Skills

Technical Expertise (Mandatory)

  • Deep expertise in the Mobility operating system (Android Preferably) and its enterprise-specific features.
  • Strong technical understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms and enterprise deployment models (e.g., Dedicated, Work Profile, Fully Managed).
  • Expertise in Mobile Security, including hardware-level security (e.g., chip security, cryptographic keys), OS patching strategies, and zero-trust concepts.
  • Knowledge of Modern AI/Machine Learning and how it is implemented on-device for enterprise productivity, security, and battery optimization.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and how mobile solutions integrate with them.

Experience & Competencies

  • Proven experience of 6-8 years in a Pre-Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or Technical Sales role, selling complex technology solutions to enterprise customers.
  • Exceptional ability to bridge technical jargon and business value, presenting to both technical architects and non-technical business leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience with technical discovery, solution scoping, and Proof of Concept (PoC) execution.
  • Excellent written communication skills for creating detailed and professional technical proposals.
  • Master’s/ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.


Reporting Structure

  • Reports To: Program Head
  • Travel: Significant travel required for customer meetings, presentations, and PoC delivery.
