Job Description
**Summary:**
Seasonal Contract position supporting the National Science Foundation managed United States Antarctic Program as part of the Antarctic Support Contract (ASC). Preventative Maintenance Coordinator will supervise maintenance or construction work, or any combination thereof, under the supervision of the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. Tasking is based on ASC schedule requirements.
**Position Responsibilities (not all inclusive):**
+ Implements and maintains a safe workplace program and ensure that safety is the highest priority on the jobsite.
+ Supervises the activities of Facilities craft personnel on station
+ Supervises and performs hands-on diagnosis, repair, and scheduled Preventative Maintenance on existing facilities, equipment, systems, and infrastructure
+ Prepares and documents work plans, job hazard analysis, job safety analysis, code required forms...
