Prevention Specialist

Prevention Specialist Position:  Coordinating the Ingham Substance Awareness Prevention (ISAP) coalitions tasked with reducing risk behaviors and increasing protective factors through evidence-based strategies and programs. This position will include developing and improving local systems for referrals to resources, training, and collaboration between agencies. School consultation and collaboration to support youth data and enhance student support services will be a significant part of this job. Occasional evenings and weekend work may be required for community and school events.

An ideal candidate will have an established history of:

• Established partnerships and knowledge of Ingham County agencies, providers, educational institutions, and service organizations
