**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This regional role is responsible for supporting plant teams across multiple sites in the selection, deployment
and maintenance of operational technology. The position provides hands-on guidance for connecting and
configuring sensors, ensuring reliable network communication, and diagnosing and resolving connectivity
issues. Acting as a key technical resource for the region, the role ensures that plant data systems operate
smoothly and consistently, enabling accurate monitoring and efficient operations.

**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**

+ Ensure that group safety and security policies are implemented and adhered to in areas of management.
+ Upholding the highest standards in health and safety and acting as a role model.
+ Support Sensor Setup and Configuration through the phases of: Installation, connection, and configuration of sensors and related instrumentation to ensure accurate data collection.
+ Ensure and provision network connectivity support through monitoring and maintaining reliable network connections between plant equipment, servers, and data platforms.
+ Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution by diagnosing and resolving sensor, communication, and connectivity issues across multiple plants in the region.
+ Regional Technical Support by providing on-site and remote assistance to plant teams, ensuring consistent technical standards and best practices across all locations.
+ Documentation and Reporting by maintaining clear documentation of configurations, installations, and troubleshooting steps; report recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
+ Collaborate with engineering, IT, and CoE teams to escalate complex issues, implement updates, and align on technical requirements.
+ Coach plant personnel on proper handling, installation, and maintenance of sensors and network equipment.
+ Actively participate and contribute to all the initiatives of the Smart Technologies team within the framework of manufacturing support.
+ Leverage and develop plant talent in the deployment and acceleration of IoT concept within Amrize.
+ Develop the Maintenance expertise to the level of a SME (Subject Matter Expert) as needed for supporting the advanced applications (eg: M-Predict)
+ Be able to understand and follow up on all the alerts generated by the predictive maintenance tools (Dalog, M-Predict, SpectraSense ect)
+ Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

**Education:** Bachelor's degree or years of equivalent experience

**Additional Education Preferred:** Master's degree

**Field of Study Preferred:** Engineering / BSc

**Required Work Experience:** 10 years industrial manufacturing

**Required Technical Skills:** Microsoft office, Project Management software, SAP a plus. Skills in mechanical, instrumentation, digital & systems in a manufacturing environment

**Travel Requirements:** 30%

**Additional Requirements:**

+ Affinity to digital and technology development and implementation to deliver improved operational efficiencies
+ Strong communication, coordination skills & ability to energize stakeholders
+ Experience in heavy industrial and continuous process manufacturing & systems
+ Understanding of industrial control systems (PLC) and information technology networks (e.g. TIS – technical information system), data acquisition and historian systems
+ Understand process and mechanical equipment monitoring, sensors, networks and digital
+ Agile learning approach
+ Innovative mind set and track record
+ Artificial intelligence and machine learning desired
+ Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved
+ Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
