Preventive Maintenance Coordinator

Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Shop Supervisor or Director Building Systems Support, the incumbent is responsible to implement preventive maintenance schedules, and institute, plan and document commissioning and routine equipment inspections for the equipment/systems under the responsibility of the Shop. Ensures that all equipment of the Shop requiring regular maintenance is properly scheduled within the computerized preventive maintenance system. Assists the Supervisor in the management of service contractors and consultants including tendering, service monitoring, site orientation and quality issues. Assists the Supervisor in developing procedures in the operation and maintenance of all types of building equipment. Advises the Safety and Training Coordinator of any equipment necessitating additional training for proper maintenance.
