Primary SEN Teaching Assistant • Location: York, North Yorkshire • Start Date: As soon as possible; February 2026/March 2026 • Salary: £23124 – £27258 per annum*

GSL Education is currently recruiting a full-time Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist education setting in York.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and compassionate SEN TA who is passionate about supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for primary-aged pupils with complex SEN, including Autism and learning difficulties.
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.
• Assist with personalised learning programmes and EHCP targets.
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and engagement.
