Principal Account Executive - REMOTE

This role will have a significant impact as you will be responsible for developing and managing key accounts within the assigned territory. As a Principal Account Executive, you will lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a growing pipeline and strengthening client relationships. The position requires a consultative approach to sales, with a focus on delivering value to customers and partners alike. Your expertise and strategic input will contribute to our partner's growth in the competitive landscape of the security market.
Accountabilities
- Learn product offerings to become a subject matter expert for key clients.
- Develop account and territory sales plans for assigned customer base.
- Conduct outbound prospecting and maintain key relationships.
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations to clients.
- Organize and maintain client account information in CRM database.
- Review and negotiate complex agreements with clients.
- Own and resolve sales inquiries and respond to RFPs.
- Collaborate across various teams to ensure successful market strategies.
- Attend trade shows and seminars as required.
- Participate in additional tasks or projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of Sales experience in B2B applications or SaaS.
- Experience selling to the Nordics region.
- Proven track record of selling to technical audiences.
- Strong business acumen with a history of quota over-achievement.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
- Experience in direct and channel selling.
- Understanding of procurement, negotiations, and deal closing.
- Desirable: Force Management experience.
- Experience with SFDC or equivalent CRM.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20%.
