Role Description
Full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Principal Associate/Senior Associate specializing in Employment and Corporate Law. The selected associate will provide legal advice and solutions on matters related to labour and employment law, contracts and corporate law, deliver training/knowledge sessions, and assist-in/lead Labour Code Alignment Programs (LCAP). The role will require regular interaction with clients, ensuring adherence to legal standards and accuracy, quality and fostering of strong client relationships.
Experience
- Principal Associate : Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Senior Associate : Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
(exceptions will be made based on skill, experience & ability)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) a must;
- Strong legal acumen and analytical skills to interpret law and situations and advice clients
- Excellent communication skills for drafting & reviewing legal documents, interacting with clients, and presenting legal advice clearly
- Basic understanding of finance to ensure alignment between legal strategies and organizational budgeting or cost planning
- Capability in customer service to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and address their legal inquiries
- Experience in preparing subject matter content and delivering training/knowledge sessions
- Professional experience in labour and employment law, including advisory (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables while ensuring timely delivery
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and other similar tools
