Principal Data Engineer

We're Growing Our Data Dream Team! As a Principal Data Engineer at Plain Concepts you will be a technical reference, responsible for guiding the evolution, quality, and consistency in data projects. This role combines hands‑on technical leadership with strategic enablement: supporting proposals, strengthening shared knowledge, defining the offering, mentoring engineers, and driving the growth of the discipline’s community. This is not a people‑management or delivery‑management role; it is a technical leadership and community‑building role.

Responsibilities

Technical Quality & Proposals

• Ensure the technical quality of proposals, RFP responses and solution definitions within the discipline
• Support Sales by leading the technical approach, architecture and vision in opportunities
• Provide expert input during pre‑sales conversations, scoping sessions and early project shaping
