Position: Principal (Degree College)

Location: Kanpur Dehat

Experience: 15+ Years

Reports To: Management / Governing Body


Role Overview:


*The Principal will be the academic and administrative head of the college, responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring academic excellence, maintaining discipline, and fostering holistic student development.

*The role demands strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills to build a culture of quality education, innovation, and continuous growth.


Key Responsibilities:

Academic Leadership:

*Provide visionary leadership in curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and academic planning.

*Ensure compliance with UGC/AICTE/NAAC/State University guidelines.

*Promote research, publications, and academic innovation among faculty and students.


Administration & Governance:

*Manage day-to-day administration, academic schedules, admissions, and examinations.

*Supervise recruitment, training, and performance of faculty and staff.

*Maintain discipline, grievance redressal, and code of conduct across the institution.


Quality & Accreditation:

*Drive NAAC, NBA, and other accreditation processes for quality enhancement.

*Implement continuous quality improvement in academics and infrastructure.


Student Development:

*Encourage extracurricular, co-curricular, and skill development activities.

*Ensure effective student support systems (mentorship, counseling, career guidance).


Industry & Community Engagement:

*Build collaborations with industry, universities, and research organizations.

*Strengthen alumni relations and community outreach programs.


Financial & Resource Management:

*Manage budgets, resource allocation, and optimal utilization of funds.

*Oversee infrastructure development and maintenance.


Qualifications & Experience:

*Master’s Degree from a recognized university.

*Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline.

*Minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience, including 5 years in an administrative/leadership role (e.g., HOD, Dean, Vice-Principal, Principal).

*Strong knowledge of higher education policies, regulatory frameworks, and academic best practices.

Employment Type: Full-Time
