The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Perth team. As our client portfolio grows across the resources, energy and industrial sectors, this position will help support and expand our engineering and design capabilities. This is a great opportunity for a talented and passionate Principal Electrical Engineer to be part of a supportive and collaborative team.

You will play a key role in developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues and clients while delivering simple, practical, and efficient engineering and design solutions. The role involves contributing to the successful delivery of works across a diverse range of projects and clients, ensuring outcomes meet client requirements, Australian Standards, relevant regulations, and agreed budgets and timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls design tasks from concept through to commissioning
• Managing projects including drafters and engineers of other disciplines
• Checking designs completed by others

Here’s what you’ll need

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation and Control)
• High level of experience and ability in use of applicable engineering design systems and software (PoweCAD, PowerFactory, SafeGrid, Etap, etc.)
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
