Principal Engineer - Airfield

The WSP Aviation team is seeking an experienced Airfield Engineer to be the Principal Engineer within our Indian office, with the potential to become the GCC Airfield Engineering Team Lead as the team grows and develops. The successful candidate will be the first member of this team and will form a crucial role in its growth and development. The Principal Engineer will be responsible for delivering airfield civil engineering design and maintenance projects through various stages of design from feasibility/ option studies to detailed design and onto construction for various clients both in the UK and overseas.

The candidate will be required to:

+ Act as the design lead for airfield civil engineering projects.
+ Take ownership of the successful delivery of projects whilst giving leadership and direction to more junior team members, including planning their work and managing the delivery of multiple technical engineering projects.
