Overview

Principal Engineer based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full Time Permanent basis.

Salary: £75,000

Location: Bedford

Type of Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.15am – 4.45pm; Friday 8.15am – 1.45pm

Responsibilities

  • Lead R&D initiatives and root cause analysis
  • Enhance project toll gates
  • Translate customer technical requirements and specifications
  • Implement product standardisation strategy aligned with sales
  • Provide technical support and leadership
  • Quotation and selection processes for motors and pumps ensuring compliance with application
  • Influence specification development
  • ATEX competency lead in collaboration with Engineering Manager
