Job Description

The Principal Engineer – Instrumentation is responsible for leading instrumentation and control system engineering activities for assigned commodities across projects. The role ensures planning, coordination, quality, and timely delivery of all instrumentation engineering deliverables, while providing technical guidance to the engineering team and supporting procurement and tracking of instrumentation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply strong knowledge of instrumentation and control system engineering across various industries.
  • Utilize software tools such as SPI and Navisworks for engineering coordination and planning.
  • Plan all deliverables related to the assigned commodity and review Level-3 schedules and MDR dates.
  • Coordinate with all relevant disciplines to gather required inputs for engineering deliverables.
  • Review P&IDs and instrument index to ensure all tags are covered as per issued P&IDs.
