Principal Engineer

Our client is a forerunner in the shipbuilding industry. It is seeking to employ an
experienced professional to join them as
Principal Engineer (Marine) – Mechanical and HVAC (Ref:
KHXXXX)
The successful candidate will independently perform the mechanical designs (2D & 3D)
that comply with Class and Technical specification requirements within the assigned
schedule.
The Job
 Assist the Manager in day-to-day operations and perform the assigned
mechanical tasks with good quality and within schedule taking into account the
new regulation/rule, product, standard
 Report to the project manager / section manager for mech/HVAC related Man-
hours/Schedule etc.
 Lead the mech & HVAC team in the project with good quality and within
schedule.
 Train & guide the mech/HVAC engineers (AE or draft man) ensuring team unity.
 Prepare & Review HVAC calculation, 2D SLD/DLD, 3D models and
specifications and vendor's drawings
