Our Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.We’re a mission-driven leader in medical technology and solutions with a legacy of integrity and innovation, join our new Minimed India Hub as Principal Financial Analyst – Supply Chain .We are seeking an experienced Principal Financial Analyst – Supply Chain to support financial planning, analysis, and decision-making across our global supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to Distribution Center finance, Material Planning, and Logistics Cost management, with experience supporting high-volume operations across Europe, India, and the US.

Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Provide financial support and analysis for Distribution Center operations and Material Planning, with significant focus on logistics and supply chain costs.
Act as an FP&A partner and finance leader for Supply Chain, supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and Planning teams on volume planning, service, and repair operations.
Own and analyze P&L / Income Statement for supply chain activities, including cost drivers and margin impacts.
Perform detailed variance analysis (actuals vs. plan/forecast) and communicate insights to leadership.
Analyze and manage logistics, transportation, warehousing, and inventory-related costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Drive cost optimization initiatives and support continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Support cash flow forecasting and manage working capital, including inventory and supply chain-related cash impacts.
Perform CapEx analysis, including business case development, ROI evaluation, and post-investment reviews.
Develop financial models and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Collaborate with global stakeholders across Europe, India, and the US, aligning with headquarters and regional teams.
Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls and policies.
Required Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
Extensive experience in FP&A and Supply Chain Finance, with strong exposure to:
Distribution Center operations (approximately 70%)
Material Planning & Logistics Cost management (approximately 70%).
Proven experience supporting volume planning, service, and repair operations.
Strong hands-on experience with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, cost analysis, P&L management, cash flow, and working capital.
Experience performing CapEx analysis and investment evaluations
Prior experience working with global teams in Europe, India, and/or the US.
Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience in a global or matrixed organization.
Advanced proficiency in financial systems and ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and Excel.
Ability to influence decision-making and drive results in a complex environment.
