Job Title: MEAN Stack Consultant / Principal Full Stack Architect

Experience: 12+ years in software engineering, with 8+ years in MEAN stack or modern JavaScript frameworks.

Location: India / Remote – as applicable

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced MEAN Stack Consultant to lead architecture, design and delivery of large-scale web applications. The role requires deep technical expertise, client-facing consulting skills and strong leadership to guide teams and stakeholders in building scalable, secure and high-performance systems.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Define end-to-end architecture for enterprise web applications using MEAN stack.
• Drive technology roadmap and modernization strategies.
• Establish coding standards, best practices and governance .

Solution Design & Delivery

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system designs .
• Design RESTful APIs, microservices and event-driven systems.
• Ensure performance, scalability, security and reliability.

Consulting & Stakeholder Management

• Act as technical advisor to CXOs, product owners and clients .
• Participate in pre-sales, proposals, estimations and solution presentations .
• Provide architecture reviews and technical audits.

Team Leadership

• Mentor and guide senior engineers and architects .
• Conduct code reviews and design reviews.
• Build high-performing engineering teams.

DevOps & Cloud

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Architect solutions on AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Promote DevSecOps practices.

Technical Skills (Must Have)

Frontend

• Angular (v10+), TypeScript
• HTML5, CSS3, SCSS
• RxJS, NgRx
• Micro-frontend architectures

Backend

• Node.js, Express.js
• REST & GraphQL APIs
• Microservices architecture
• Authentication (OAuth2, JWT, SSO)

Database

• MongoDB (schema design, indexing, performance tuning)
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL is a plus)

DevOps & Cloud

• Docker, Kubernetes
• Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab
• AWS / Azure / GCP
• Nginx / Apache

Architecture

• Distributed systems
• Event-driven systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ)
• API gateways
• Design patterns & SOLID principles

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 12+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in JavaScript / MEAN stack
• Has led multiple enterprise transformations
• Comfortable with hands-on coding and technical leadership
• Background in pre-sales and delivery governance
• Experience in client-facing consulting roles
