Role Purpose
The Principal Design Consultant – Luxe is a design leadership and business-impact role. This position sets the design benchmark for the Luxe segment, handles marquee and complex projects, and elevates overall design quality by mentoring teams and partnering with leadership on premium growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead the most complex, high-value, or architect-led Luxe projects.
-Act as a design authority and trusted advisor for premium customers and key stakeholders.
-Define and enforce design standards, best practices, and luxury benchmarks for the Luxe segment.
-Mentor, review, and coach Senior Design Consultants to improve design quality and conversion.
-Partner with studio leadership and sales teams to support closures and large-ticket deals.
-Influence product, sourcing, and category teams on premium materials, finishes, and bespoke
offerings.
-Intervene in escalations related to design quality, feasibility, or customer experience.
-Represent Home Lane Luxe in flagship studios, design forums, and key customer meetings.
-Track global luxury trends and translate them into scalable Luxe propositions.

Experience & Qualifications
-7–14+ years of experience in luxury residential, hospitality, or high-end commercial interiors.
-Degree in Interior Design or Architecture; postgraduate qualification preferred.
-Proven experience handling marquee or ultra-premium projects.
Performance Metrics
-Revenue and margin contribution from marquee Luxe projects.
-Improvement in overall design quality and team capability.
-Customer advocacy and brand impact for Home Lane Luxe.
-Successful mentoring outcomes and leadership feedback.
