Job Summary:
The School Principal is the educational leader and administrative head of the school. The Principal is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, implementing curriculum standards, maintaining high academic performance, fostering a positive school culture, and ensuring compliance with educational policies. This role involves collaboration with staff, students, parents, and the wider community to promote an inclusive, safe, and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Administration
Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the school
Develop and implement school improvement plans and educational goals
Supervise and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national education regulations
Curriculum & Instruction
Oversee the development and implementation of curriculum and instruction
Promote effective teaching strategies and academic excellence
Monitor student performance and guide interventions as needed
Support professional development for staff
School Operations
Manage school budgets, resources, and facilities efficiently
Maintain accurate student records and oversee school scheduling
Ensure school safety and crisis preparedness plans are in place
Community & Parent Engagement
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and stakeholders
Foster community partnerships and school spirit
Address and resolve conflicts or issues involving staff, students, or parents
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field
Valid teaching and administrative certification (as required by jurisdiction)
Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience; prior administrative experience preferred
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and organizational abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices
Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-centered learning
Package:
Salary: 2500 - 3500 USD
