Principal Mechanical Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to provide technical leadership and engineering oversight across NewPro’s mining, mineral processing, and battery recycling projects. The role requires extensive experience across the full project lifecycle, from early concept and study phases through detailed design, construction support, and commissioning.

Working within multidisciplinary project teams, the engineer will support design, procurement, construction support, testing, and commissioning of process-driven facilities. The work spans a range of commodities, including gold, lithium, iron ore, and base metals, across projects in Australia and overseas.

The position supports both greenfield and brownfield projects and contributes to process optimisation, operability, and reliability improvements across a range of process-driven facilities.
