About you

We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic applicants for the role of Principal Policy Advisor.

About the role

The Principal Policy Advisor consults and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the MHC commissions services that deliver value for money, and demonstrate positive outcomes for consumers, families, carers and the community as a whole.

The role will involve engaging with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations for the delivery of mental health and/or alcohol and other drug services in the Kimberley region.

The position reports to the Assistant Director Strategic Commissioning within the Commissioning and Programs Division, working closely with prevention, treatment and community support leaders and contract managers, however, collaborates with the Governance and Corporate Services directorate and System Development directorate to ensure continuous alignment with the MHC and whole of government strategic direction and priorities for commissioning.
