The Opportunity

Agilitus’ Process Engineering capability is entering a pivotal growth phase as we expand our footprint across new commodities and increasingly complex study and project work in the resources and industrial sectors. We are seeking a Principal Process Engineer to play a defining role in shaping the technical direction, standards and future structure of the Process team. This is a rare opportunity to build influence in a fast-moving consultancy environment where senior leaders are empowered to guide capability growth, strengthen client relationships and contribute directly to expanding the Process portfolio. The role offers significant autonomy and visibility, with strong potential to shape both the team and the type of work the capability pursues moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Ability to lead and sign off process flowsheets across scoping, PFS and DFS levels.
• Commercially minded, with the ability and willingness to leverage industry relationships and professional networks to support client engagement and contribute to securing new process-focused opportunities.
• Passionate about mentoring and strengthening team capability in a fast-growing consultancy environment.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Relevant qualification in Chemical / Process Engineering recognised in Australia; Chartered status highly regarded.
• Significant minerals processing experience across Gold, Lithium and/or Rare Earths projects and studies.
• Expert user of process simulation software (SysCAD and/or METSIM) for study development and optimisation.
