About the role

This role is responsible for managing the low and high voltage electrical requirements that support the PTA’s electric bus conversion strategy and ferry expansion program. It plays a key part in the design, construction, and maintenance of new and existing infrastructure across the Transperth bus and ferry networks, as well as the Transregional bus public transport network.

The position provides technical expertise and project management leadership on medium to high-risk infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with PTA standards, safety requirements, and engineering assurance processes. It involves delivering designs, feasibility plans, cost estimates, and financial justifications, while overseeing consultants and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality.
